Hi, pseudo-lurker here. I read a lot of SPN fanfic and J2 especially. Just had to take a moment to let you know how much I'm enjoying this fic. Keep it up. I just rec'd this to a friend based totally on this paragraph:
He came to dread the ‘cut’, the moment when the spell was broken and Dean’s – Jensen’s – feelings faded. When they went back to being coworkers and colleagues, and the spark of passion left those incredible emerald eyes. Jared found himself wishing for more of those pseudo-gay moments that he used to find so threatening, just for the chance to be close to Jensen, even though he inevitably froze when he was. Just for the fleeting glimpses he thought he saw of real emotion in the other man’s eyes, even if it was just the steely glint of anger.
I framed the rec to my friend by saying "If all this (J2) were real, it could be used as an explanation as to the chemistry between the two actors. And as it isn't real, it is a good way to "use" the chemistry displayed between the two characters." Of course, we could discuss (a lot) as to "this is not real." hee.
