I'm actually relatively new to the fandom too -- watched some of the first season but didn't get sucked in until this February, when it was like a bomb went off as I was sitting there casually watching SPN and I was suddenly OMG, that is the most beautiful thing I've ever seen in my entire life (ie, Jensen) and OMG, the chemistry between these two boys is knocking me out! That was it, I was completely hooked. Obsessively watched all of season one SPN, dark angel, smallville, devour, etc etc on dvd (there was one day when Kat and I forgot to eat, quite literally...) -- started writing like the next day. LOL. Kat was hooked before I was, but now we're equally besotted. Oh, and we're both angst whores too -- and have kind of a pet peeve for guys *not* acting like guys. So thanks for that feedback, it REALLY means alot! :)
