With how much I loved Fade to Black I'm guessing it's no suprise that I went straight to reading the sequel too.

An emotional ride this one too, seeing demon Dean being left out and unwanted by his family like that - when you know how much of a family man he really is. As well as to know that he'll forever have to live with that he turned against them when he lost Sam... And Sam sticking with him, so wrapped up in his love for his brother to ever back away. It feels like he's too close sometimes, he only sees the small details, everything that's still completely Dean, that he doesn't notice how much the bigger picture has changed.

Really loved the epilogue too. I'm a bit out of words (and ain't that the state you always put me in) but you put a big smile on my face with that. The whole idea of neither heaven nor hell can keep them from each other is just... yeah.

And I actually plugged in my Wacom today for the first time in what feels like forever, so I have to give you the biggest thanks for that! For giving me the will to do something again <3
