Thanks so much for taking the time to give me such detailed feedback, I really appreciate it. For a while there, I thought you were really gonna yell at me tho! LOL. It's true that I was trying to convey Jared's frustration and evoke it in the reader to do so -- this story is all about 'parallel process' both between the actors/characters and the reader too. So if you're frustrated, I'm doing my job! (Tho I don't really want you to hate me for it!)
Point well taken about the chapters being too short, especially the early ones. This is the first fic I've ever posted in LJ and just wasn't sure at all how to do it -- definitely will make them longer in the future.
The story is also purposely from Jared's pov, and purposely leaving *out* any real clues to what Jensen's thinking, because that's part of Jared's frustration and confusion -- so didn't want the reader 'getting it' when poor Jared didn't. Also probably because I'm totally a Jensengirl, and I just love *looking* at him, through Jared's eyes or anyone else's. :) But yes, you'll learn more about what's going through Jensen's head too, shortly. Hope you'll stick with it and keep reading! I promise a ratcheting down of the frustration factor very soon. :)
