Very intriguing! I adored the bit about the garden, Sammy's tomato plants and Dean stealing a daffodil for him--so telling and a perfect snapshot of the Winchester dynamic. Also, you transition from scene to sequel well (I hope that doesn't sound too ... erm ... pretentious), and I appreciate how you're moving the story along at a good pace. I can't wait to read the rest.
