Oh my good lawd! That is soooo sad! And so poignant. I'm trying to wipe a few tears up here, in a hotel bar in Italy that has several other folk in it, who I think might be wondering at what I am weeping now!
That was just.... perfect. I loved how you had Sam pulling out memories, and then the gun resolving in the light - this piece is just perfectly balanced I think.
