I loved this, I love an outside character POV - getting Scott’s background & then his perspective & his sense of the lack of normalcy in Sam & Dean’s relationship - & as usual, you did it so beautifully. This packed such an emotional punch. I had to peek through my fingers during Sam’s torture scene, & there was so much sexual tension in the scene where Scott catches them. I also loved Cas acting as sentry & warning Scott not to say anything, that “no one else would understand”.
Either my LJ or my email are glitching bc I only just got the email notification that this had been posted (right after the email notification your 2018 fic summary post) & I see it was posted on 20th. I also didn’t get an email for the last fic, In The Dark (or your Wincest big bang fic - I luckily saw a tweet for it when it was posted). So weird, I’ll have to maybe try changing my email server, or check in to LJ more regularly.
