This is such a beautiful story, I loved seeing our boys through the years from Essa's POV - and lucky her, having such a great viewpoint, too! There were so many lovely moments and I'll just pick two. I loved them swimming in the lake and messing around, having a few days to relax. and I loved them giving Essa a recipe book for Christmas, and them all getting tipsy on Sam's spiked eggnog! I hope our boys do get to retire somewhere lovely.
