Oh the ending! (There is something in my eye. Must be my allergies playing up. That’s all it is. Honest. Shut up. I’m not crying, YOURE crying.) I love Essa just a little bit, and I’m glad she lived a full and happy life and I’m glad she got so many good memories to take with her. I’m also glad that those boys got to live a full and happy life and have somewhere to build quiet happy memories of their own. (God damn allergies. Ahggggg I need a tissue. I’ll just leave the box right here for now.) This was a wonderful story! I loved the little slices of life that we got so see, the good and the bad, and I love that they had a quiet casual friend. Not someone who was mixed up in the life or they had to worry about loosing, not someone who was too embroiled in all their drama. But someone who knew them in passing and thought fondly of them who will happily carry their memory onwards, just for who they were not what they did. That’s a legacy in itself. And that?! That’s just lovely! Thank you 🤗
