I really liked your story. I'm usually a bit thrown by shifting perspectives in a narrative, but you handled it really well. You didn't repeat information and you moved things along emotionally in a logical and realistic fashion. Great job! If this is the last big_big story *sob* then I'm grateful and pleased that it was such a great story. Going out with a bang (heh) in more ways than one. Thank you!

Thanks so much for your comments - I was really worried about the pov shifts, as I often find them either jarring or redundant, but felt that was the best way to convey this story particularly when Sam and Dean's povs were literally so separate. Well, this is only the last big bang for this year, so we have next year to look forward to! Thanks again for your feedback :)

Oh. This is beautiful. The start was a little shaky, but once you got going, damn you really got going. The description you put into this story was so amazing, so fucking visceral. I could feel, see, smell what the boys were. You made it so real. I loved the way you developed their relationship, with the need, the guilt and the love. I think it was perfect.

Thanks so much Alex! I think the pov shifts in the beginning probably threw some people, cuz they were definitely a bit shaky at the start -- so glad you kept reading and liked the rest. I'm tremendously complimented that you found it visceral and real, that's exactly what I was trying to convey, and I'm thrilled every time somebody tells me I succeeded. :)

I found a link to this on tumblr and oh my gosh. It's everything I ever could have asked for in a fic. Your talent as a writer is amazing. The perspectives of both the boys, how Dean has to accept needing Sam and not being able to Independent, the outsider's perspective, the pining, slow burn. Ugh. I seriously can't believe I
by chance found such an amazing story that spoke to me on another level. You honestly deserve an award.
