My slightly late drabble for S7, squeaking in before the 8 days ends...I don't want to see the end of this, it's been so much fun!

Season 7

The reaction he has to Sam in a tux saying 'I do' is unexpected. Dean tells himself it's because it's Becky.

I thought you wanted normal for me, Dean. Sam is looking at him strangely.

"I do want that for you - normal. Just, not like this."

Because it's Becky, or because it's not --

Dean's throat is tight with a sudden burst of panic. "Sam, you're not thinking straight, something's not..."

Sam reaches out and Dean flinches. Sam's hand lands on Dean's cheek. His fingers trail down slowly, brush Dean's jaw. A hand on his cock has never taken Dean's breath away faster.

Season 8

It takes Sam six weeks to recover from the trials. Dean is sitting beside him whenever Sam can force his eyes open. At the hospital, in a blue plastic chair, chin in hands and despair in his eyes. At the bunker, in an overstuffed chair he’s dragged into Sam’s room, a cautious hope in his expression.

Sam has a lot of time to replay Dean’s words in the church – and to finally believe them.

It takes Sam six weeks to recover, but only six seconds more to pull his brother from that chair and kiss him senseless.

“Sam?”
