Heh - if your journal isn't set to over 18s it's easy peasy - AO3 has an import from LJ option. If like me you had to set your journal to adult, the easiest way I've found is to copy and paste LJ's HTML into the AO3 page. Sometimes you get wonky formatting but mostly that works.

I finally got round to reading this - what a beautiful, heartfelt story! ♥ I was particularly moved by the beginning where ghost!Dean kept failing to make contact with Sam and grew more and more desperate, frustrated and lonely. What I found interesting was that ghost!Dean seemed more like his early seasons self - in recent seasons he's been far less restless and impulsive - it's intriguing to think that becoming a ghost is like aging backwards, slowly losing your maturity until you become a screaming toddler...

Anyway, thank you so much for writing and sharing this! It's always a treat to read a new story of yours. <333

That is truly an intriguing (and vaguely horrifying) thought, that ghosts might slowly age backwards but not in a good way. I wanted to create some tension, and I'm thrilled that it worked and that you cared enough about the characters for the tension to carry some weight. This was such an enjoyable read. I was totally caught up in their frustrating in reaching each other, and I couldn't begin to see how they could not end up separated for eternity. Count me in as another one who would be perfectly happy with the show ending this way.
