I finally got round to reading this - what a beautiful, heartfelt story! ♥ I was particularly moved by the beginning where ghost!Dean kept failing to make contact with Sam and grew more and more desperate, frustrated and lonely. What I found interesting was that ghost!Dean seemed more like his early seasons self - in recent seasons he's been far less restless and impulsive - it's intriguing to think that becoming a ghost is like aging backwards, slowly losing your maturity until you become a screaming toddler...

Anyway, thank you so much for writing and sharing this! It's always a treat to read a new story of yours. <333

That is truly an intriguing (and vaguely horrifying) thought, that ghosts might slowly age backwards but not in a good way. I wanted to create some tension, and I'm thrilled that it worked and that you cared enough about the characters for the tension to carry some weight. Thanks so much for reading and especially for commenting!
