It's a sad night, everyone shocked by the tragic loss of Robin Williams, and it seems like a good time for everyone to remind themselves of why we're all important, so I'm loving seeing this meme going around fandom. So many of my friends here are immeasurably awesome, and I hope you all remember that. Okay...
1. I'm empathic. Can't help it really, but I also don't want to.
2. I'm a good mom. Not 100% of the time, of course (just ask my kids), but it's my number one priority and my greatest joy.
3. I can write. Actually I have to write, it's a compelling drive, so it's lucky that I can.
4. I'm unusual. For much of my life, I wouldn't have said that was a nice thing about myself, but now I relish it. Fandom helped with that more than anything.
5. I now like my unruly hair and my too-many freckles, too, though I didn't always.
I'm terrible at tagging, so everyone who reads this - go do it too! I also like that I have such wonderful friends, and I'd love to hear what YOU like about yourself.
